Aglaonema Pictum Tricolor prefers to be watered regularly but not too frequently. The soil should be allowed to partially dry out between watering to prevent overwatering which can cause root rot. It is important to water the plant thoroughly until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Watering should be reduced during the winter months.
